GMP provided landscape master planning services for Bressi Ranch, a 585-acre master planned community located in Carlsbad, CA. The community was designed with the theme of a historic garden district incorporating elements specific to the history and environment of Carlsbad and the Southern California Region to create a sense of permanence and historical character. Using the land plan developed by Peter Calthorpe following Ahwanee principles to create pedestrian interconnectedness, GMP developed the theme and provided design and construction document services for the community streetscapes, entry gateways, 7 parks, pool and recreation center, town square, rose gardens, and the community green. GMP was specifically involved in all aspects of project theming, design, project management.
