GMP provided conceptual landscape architecture designs and site planning for Welk Resorts Branson, a new 1.35-acre recreation and preview center nestled in Missouri’s breathtaking Ozark Mountains.

GMP prepared several conceptual alternative design plans for a 4,375 square foot resort-style indoor/outdoor pool and lazy river. Features of the design included extensive rock work, snack and pool cabanas, tot-lot, interactive water play area, waterfall, fire pit, and outdoor deck gathering area.

Additional features of the design incorporated an extensive project entry feature due to the center location at the entry of the resort. The estimated construction budget for this project was $1.5M – $2M.
